Fantastic Rocker
|
| Review Date: July 16, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Sharon A. Pierce, |
| This is an absolutely fantastic wooden rocker for the price. Took some doing to put it together, but was proud when I suceeded. Wood is in very good condition and appears to be treated. Very comfortable. I may want to find a pad for it. It looks so nice, my husband puts it in the garage at night because he is afraid someone might take it.(lol) However, we do live in a safe neighorhood. |
Dig the chairs

Quality of wood seems very good. Very comfortable, good classic design. Very affordable and easy to assemble.
Tip on assembly - don't be aggressive in tightening down the few wood screws, wood does seem a little on softer side and could split (but didn't). Also concur with prior post, don't tighten everything down until it's all together. You need some wiggle room to get the rockers on. So first chair took about an hour. With the basic knowledge gained and the insight on not tightening, #2 took about 15 minutes. |
Crack in armrest, SMELL
|
| Review Date: June 7, 2009 |
| Reviewer: L. Roth, Colorado |
| This chair is comfortable, that is true. And the price is quite good as well. However, the finish that they use on this chair has a VERY strong smell. We could actually smell it through the box! I'm sure that now that we finally have it together (directions are useless) and it's outside the smell will dissapate. But until then, ugh! |
not pleased with the finish

| Reviewer: Denise G. Taylor, New York |
This product, adirondeck chair, was advertised as having
a finish that would be good for indoor/outdoor use. Well, it
did not the finish is not uniform and I now have to sand and
restain it myself. It was a birthday gift and I am disappointed.

DOES NOT FOLD!

| Reviewer: Paul D. Roy, |
| I bought two of these chairs. It is misleading to call them "folding" rocking chairs. Hardware needs to be removed in order for these chairs to fold. There are better wooden folding rocking chairs elsewhere for not much more money. Don't waste your money on these. |
